Teacher Maureen Karpan
Maureen Karpan has been helping students unlock their passion for music for over 20 years. She is licensed and trained in both the Simply Music Method and Suzuki Method, and uses them as a tool to help students discover their innate abilities and leverage their talent – from day one!
Maureen is also a professionally performing musician, and has been playing nationally with her band, The Creole Belles, since 1996. She is an accomplished accordionist and loves to share her enthusiasm for music with her students, family and friends.

PLAY IMMEDIATELY, FROM YOUR FIRST LESSON
From your very first lesson, you’ll play the piano with both hands. As you develop an ear for notes, chords and rhythm, you’ll discover just how exciting and complex the world of music can be. You’ll quickly become comfortable playing with and for others, as most of our lessons are in small group settings. Music will become your companion for life, and there’s no better reward for all of your hard work.
Our Students
Our students range in age from 5 to 80 tears old. Their passions range from classical to jazz to pop. They earn pins and pearls on their ribbon as they progress.
